Passport & documents
Keep identity and booking proofs together. Airlines, hotels and immigration can ask for the same set of papers at different points of the trip.
Checklist
- Passport with at least six months validity beyond your return date for most international trips
- Printed or offline copies of tickets, hotel vouchers and the ProfileBooking booking reference
- Government photo ID that matches the name on the ticket (Aadhaar, PAN or driving licence for domestic India flights)
- Visa or e-visa printout and any invitation, hotel or onward-ticket letter the destination asks for
- Vaccination or health certificates only if the destination currently requires them
Name must match the ticket
Book flights and hotels with the same spelling as your passport. A middle-name mismatch can stop check-in. Change the passenger name from My Bookings or write to support before you travel.
Keep a backup, not only the original
Photograph the passport biodata page and store it in email. Do not send passport scans through the public contact form — upload them only inside a visa application.
